Cookies and Similar Technologies
TMV uses two kinds of cookies.
Essential cookies keep you signed in and secure your session. The site cannot function without them, and they are not used for tracking.
Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics, described in the next section. These are optional. Declining them does not change how the site works for you.
Google Analytics
TMV uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use the site.
What it collects
- Pages visited and time spent on them
- Approximate location, derived from your IP address
- Browser, device type, and operating system
- The referring site or campaign that brought you here
Cookies it sets
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and a second cookie beginning _ga_. These persist for up to two years unless you delete them.
Retention
Event-level analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which Google deletes it. Aggregate reporting totals may be kept longer.
How to opt out
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
- Enable the Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal in your browser
Handling of this data by Google is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising and remarketing features are disabled. TMV does not use Google Analytics data to serve you ads.
Information Sharing
TMV does not sell personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers necessary to operate the platform, including:
- Payment processors (Stripe)
- Cloud hosting and media delivery providers
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics)
- Email service providers
Data Security
Reasonable security measures are implemented to protect information, though no online service can guarantee absolute security.
